Mercedes Benz Fashion Week F/W 2015

Mercedes Benz Fashion Week F/W 2015.

It was 0 Degrees in New York but the looks inside Lincoln Center were hot and bronzed. The clothing was a great correlation with the makeup, soft, pretty, and nothing harsh.

For winter, many of the designer's collections, offered colors which did not seem dark or heavy but instead seemed lighter and had flow. The fashion industry is definetly making a statement that a change in the future is iminent... For the best!

Makeup is also taking a major change for 2015. Technical makeup on the eyes using 5 shades and 3 strips of lashes is coming to an end. Makeup is taking a turn for a soft, slightly matte skin, but stiill with a glow. Throughout fashion week, a must was the Chanel Soleil Tan Bronzer Poudre. For a subtle highlight we used the Tom Ford highlighter/bronzer and the Nars Nico highlighter, throughout the skin.

Concealer should not be 5 shades lighter than actual skin tone, find a match! The skin was evenly covered and not swiped with 5 different shades of concealer or foundation. The skin was subtly contoured throughout the cheeks and forehead. Highlights were used at the cupids bow of the lip; around the eyes and top of the cheeks.

Mascara was a must. This season; sort through and find one that works for you. I am a big fan of Covergirl Lash Blast and Givenchy beauty Noir Couture Mascara.

The Beauty Blender was a key item throughout all shows for all teams. I combined Makeup Forevers Face & Body with a little of their full coverage foundation. I am noticing a trend for brows, clean not completely filled in, and NO concealer outlining them.

Lips were either a nude berry or a strong red. Find a red that works for you, its like a little black dress and there is a red for everyone. The Brands used were Givenchy and MAC

I was very proud of the key looks created and were executed very well. Here are three looks from the fashion shows I had the honor of working on:
